MedEx Day 8 - May 25, 2022

Today I shadowed Dr. Brittany Farrow at the Center for Family Medicine for about half of the day. During that time, Dr. Farrow saw 5 patients including a 19-month-old girl and a 36-week pregnant mother. Dr. Farrow was extremely caring with her patients, as she spent at least 30 minutes with each patient, listened to all of their concerns, and did her best to provide for her patients in every way. Dr. Farrow also advised some residents while I was there, which was very interesting to see, considering that I hope to be a resident in the future.

I also saw Dr. Farrow see a patient who was on gender affirmation hormonal replacement therapy. She told me that her clinic was the only place in Greenville County which does this treatment.
